Central Region Teams off to a Great Start!
Submitted By webmaster on Tuesday, November 19, 2019
The season has just begun and Central region teams are off to a great start in Tournament Play. In the Oshawa Tournament (Oct 31 to Nov 3rd), the Durham Flames won the Gold Medal at the 18+AA level, the Pickering McCarthy team came away with Gold at the 18+BB level, and to top off a successful weekend, the Oshawa Storm U19A team won Gold.

This past weekend the Nepean and St. Catharines tournaments took place and it proved to be another great showing for our Central Region Teams.

In Nepean, Ajax U19AA and the Whitby U16AA teams battled strong competition to take home GOLD in their respective divisions. We also saw the Oshawa 18+BB team win GOLD, the Whitby U10 team earn a hard fought SILVER, and for the second Tournament in a row, the Oshawa Storm U19A team was victorious and brought home their second GOLD Medal of the season. And last but not least, the Oshawa U10 team came away with a GOLD Medal after a terrific performance in the St. Catharines Tournament.

This has been a fantastic start for our associations and on behalf of Central Region, Congratulations to all the players, coaches and parents. WELL EARNED!

Hopefully we can continue the success in the upcoming Tournaments. GO CENTRAL!
